Welcome
Saint Albans is an independent elementary school for boys and girls of all faiths whose parents seek a school program rooted in the moral and theological traditions of the historic Church. We offer an extensive educational programme, from PreK through Grade 8. We are located at 317 East 50th Street, in midtown Manhattan, near the United Nations.
Saint Albans strives to be a true community in every sense of the word. We draw upon the long historical tradition of Anglican schools to instill in each child of sense of his own self-worth, as well as a love for others and of God. We aim to provide children with an education that is rigorous, joyful, and compelling. We believe that every child, and indeed every person, is special to God, and an object of His grace and goodwill.

Our Facility
Saint Albans School is located at 317 East 50th Street, between First and Second Avenues, approximately one block from the United Nations. In summer 2009, the school completed the first phase of an ambitious construction programme, completing a new classroom complex for the lower school. Our facility includes brand new classrooms, a new art room, a common room for music and other activities, along with a protected outdoor playspace. In addition, the school is located one block from Peter Detmar Park, adjacent to the East River, and which provides ample opportunity for play and sport. Click here to view the school facilities.
