Camp Schedule of Activities

Camp Cubs (3-4 year olds)
8:30am Early Drop Off Arrivals 9am Arrivals/Free Play 9:30am Indoor/Outdoor Play 10am Movement/Dance Tuesdays/Thursdays - Water Games 10:30am Snack 11am Arts and Crafts 11:30am 12pm 3 year old Dismissal 4 year old Lunch 1pm Sports 1:30pm Snack 2pm Games and Activities 3pm Dismissal Please send your child with a bathing suit or clothes that may get wet on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our water games. Friday schedules will involve special events/activities centered on the weekly theme. |
Discovery Camp (5-8 year olds)
8:30am Early Drop Off Arrivals 9am Arrivals/Free Play 9:30am Playground/Central Park Visit 12pm Lunch 1pm Arts and Crafts 1:30pm Games/Activities 2pm Snack 2:15pm Sports 3pm Dismissal Tuesdays will be swim day. Camp will go to Asser Levy Park for the day. They will have time in the pool, lunch in the park, and games and activities in the park. Please send your child with swimsuit, towel and sunscreen on Tuesdays. Wednesdays will be the trip day centered around the weekly theme. Friday afternoons will involve special events/activities centered on the weekly theme. |
Adventure Camp (9-12 year olds)
8:30am Early Drop Off Arrivals 9am Arrivals/Free Play 9:30am Sports/Games/Activities in Central Park or Bryant Park 12pm Lunch in the park 1pm Sports/Games/Activities continued 2pm Return to Saint Albans Indoor/Outdoor Play 3pm Dismissal Tuesdays will be swim day. Camp will go to Asser Levy Park for the day. They will have time in the pool, lunch in the park, and games and activities in the park. Please send your child with swimsuit, towel and sunscreen on Tuesdays. Wednesdays and Thursdays will be the trip days centered around the weekly theme. Friday afternoons will involve special events/activities centered on the weekly theme. |
Activities of comic book writing, jewelry making, collage making, creating projects/costumes for weekly theme, drama, cooking projects, science experiments, and various arts and crafts. We will play a variety of sports including wiffle ball, soccer, basketball, football, and races/obstacle courses. Games including board/card games, scavenger hunts, water games, tag, circle games, and games focused on team building and skills development.
All field trips will be centered on our weekly themes. Walking and public transportation will be utilized for all trips. Trips may include visits to the Intrepid, Central Park or Bronx Zoo, New York Hall of Science, Sony Wonder Lab, Hayden Planetarium, New York Aquarium, various museums, South Street Seaport, etc.
After Camp: Campers staying from 3-5pm will participate in additional indoor/outdoor play, arts and crafts, and sports.
